We have been developing a program package called GRACE/SUSY-loop which is for the automatic calculations of the MSSM amplitudes in one-loop order. The non-linear gauge (NLG) fixing conditions play the crucial role in the calculations in one-loop order which contain a large number of Feynman diagrams. We present the recent progress in GRACE/SUSY-loop which is

In Einstein-aether theory and Horava gravity, a timelike unit vector is coupled to the spacetime metric. It has previously been shown that in an exponentially expanding homogeneous, isotropic background, small perturbations of the vector relax back to the isotropic frame. Spectral Function of Fermion Coupled with Massive Vector Boson at Finite Temperature in Gauge Invariant Formalism
hep-phDaisuke Satow, Yoshimasa Hidaka, Teiji Kunihiro
We investigate spectral properties of a fermion coupled with a massive gauge boson with a mass m at finite temperature (T) in the perturbation theory. The massive gauge boson is introduced as a U(1) gauge boson in the Stueckelberg formalism with a gauge parameter α. We find that the fermion spectral function has a three-peak structure for T \sim m irrespecti

Quantum theory can be derived from purely informational principles. Does ignorance of the whole imply ignorance of the parts? - Large violations of non-contextuality in quantum theory
quant-phThomas Vidick, Stephanie Wehner
A central question in our understanding of the physical world is how our knowledge of the whole relates to our knowledge of the individual parts. One aspect of this question is the following: to what extent does ignorance about a whole preclude knowledge of at least one of its parts? Relying purely on classical intuition, one would certainly be inclined to c

Hydrodynamic Vacuum Sources of Dark Matter Self-Generation in Accelerated Universe without Big Bang

The complex perovskite Ba2CoTeO6 (BCTO) has been synthesised, and the crystal structure and magnetic properties have been investigated using a combination of X-ray and neutron powder diffraction, electron microscopy and dielectric, calorimetric and magnetic measurements. It was shown that at room temperature this compound adopts the 6L-trigonal perovskite st

We introduce the notion of ideal triangle in the Bruhat-Tits building associated to a split group -- it is analogous to the usual notion of triangle, but one vertex is "at infinity" in a certain direction. We prove that the algebraic variety of based ideal triangles with prescribed side-lengths is naturally isomorphic to a suitable variety of genuine

Exclusive hadronic reactions with a massive lepton pair (l^+l^-) in the final state will be measured with PANDA at GSI-FAIR and with Compass at CERN, both in p+p-bar -> l^+l^-+pi and pi+N -> N'+l^+l^-. Similarly, electroproduction of a meson in the backward region will be studied at JLAB. We discuss here how the spin structure of the amplitude for such p

We present intensive quasi-simultaneous X-ray and radio monitoring of the narrow line Seyfert 1 galaxy NGC 4051, over a 16 month period in 2000-2001. Observations were made with the Rossi Timing X-ray Explorer (RXTE) and the Very Large Array (VLA) at 8.4 and 4.8 GHz. In the X-ray band NGC 4051 behaves much like a Galactic black hole binary (GBH) system in a

We continue our work reported earlier (A. Muriel and M. Dresden, Physica D 101, 299, 1997) to calculate the time evolution of the one-particle distribution function. An improved operator formalism, heretofore unexplored, is used for uniform initial data. We then choose a Gaussian pair potential between particles. With these two conditions, the velocity field

In the two-impurity Anderson model, the inter-impurity spin exchange interaction favors a spin singlet state between two impurities leading to the breakdown of the Kondo effect. We show that a local uniform magnetic field can delocalize the quasiparticles to restore the Kondo resonance. This transition is found to be continuous, accompanied by not only the d

The non-equilibrium thermodynamics of relativistic systems have a rich phenomenology. The simplest phenomenon in the class of dissipative processes is that of heat. This letter presents a brief summary of the efforts made to tackle the problem of relativistic heat conduction. In particular, we focus on the multi-fluid approach to relativistic dissipation.
Combining independent, arbitrarily weighted P-values: a new solution to an old problem using a novel expansion with controllable accuracy
math.STGelio Alves, Yi-Kuo Yu
Good's formula and Fisher's method are frequently used for combining independent P-values. Interestingly, the equivalent of Good's formula already emerged in 1910 and mathematical expressions relevant to even more general situations have been repeatedly derived, albeit in different context. We provide here a novel derivation and show how the anal

We introduce a method to reconstruct an element of a Hilbert space in terms of an arbitrary finite collection of linearly independent reconstruction vectors, given a finite number of its samples with respect to any Riesz basis. As we establish, provided the dimension of the reconstruction space is chosen suitably in relation to the number of samples, this pr
Detection of Solar and Lunar Tidal Forces via Non-resonant Oscillations of A Pendulum
physics.class-phTimir Datta, Ming Yin, Mike Wescott, Yeuncheol Jeong
The FFT power spectrum of time deflection data from a pendulum bob shows a broad structure in the micro-Hz regime is consistent with non-resonant response due to forced acceleration. Harmonic analyses of pass Butterworth filtered data and the horizontal components of the theoretical tidal forces were compared. We conclude that the observed diurnal and semi-d
Density-dependent nuclear interactions and the beta decay of 14C: chiral three-nucleon forces and Brown-Rho scaling
nucl-thJ. W. Holt, N. Kaiser, W. Weise
We study the role of density-dependent low-momentum nucleon-nucleon interactions in describing the anomalously long beta decay lifetime of 14C. We approach this problem both from the perspective of chiral effective field theory, in which genuine three-body forces generate an effective density-dependent two-body interaction, as well as from the perspective of

The matter-antimatter asymmetry is one of the greatest challenges in the modern physics. The universe including this paper and even the reader him(her)self seems to be built up of ordinary matter only. Theoretically, the well-known Sakharov's conditions remain the solid framework explaining the circumstances that matter became dominant against the antima

A holomorphic continuation of Jacquet type integrals for parabolic subgroups with abelian nilradical is studied. Complete results are given for generic characters with compact stabilizer and arbitrary representations induced from admissible representations. A description of all of the pertinent examples is given. These results give a complete description of

We study the structure of the coadjoint orbits of the 2+1 Poincaré group, using a matricial representation of the group. We also obtain the orbits connected to irreducible representations of the group. Finally we obtain coherent states for the hyperboloidal and conical orbits.
