We define a family of multigraded operads $O_λ$ depending on a scalar parameter, such that forgetting the multigraduation gives back the pre-Lie operad when the parameter $λ$ is equal to one, and the NAP operad governing Non-Associative Permutative algebras when $λ$ is equal to zero.
Study of fusion dynamics using Skyrme energy density formalism with different surface corrections

Within the framework of Skyrme energy density formalism, we investigate the role of surface corrections on the fusion of colliding nuclei. For this, the coefficient of surface correction was varied between 1/36 and 4/36, and its impact was studied on about 180 reactions. Up to the linear order of the rotating parameter a, the mass, Hawking temperature and entropy of the charged black holes get no corrections from rotation.

We construct an enlargement of the classifying space of mixed Hodge structures with polarized graded quotients, by adding mixed Hodge theoretic version of SL(2)-orbits. This space has a real analytic structure and a log structure with sign. The SL(2)-orbit theorem in several variables for mixed Hodge structures can be understood naturally with this space.

The Suzaku observation of a giant radio galaxy 3C 35 revealed faint extended X-ray emission, associated with its radio lobes and/or host galaxy. We investigate the dynamics of the eigenstate of an infinite well under an abrupt shift of the well's wall. Let $E$ be a continuum in the closed unit disk $|z|\le 1$ of the complex $z$-plane which divides the open disk $|z| < 1$ into $n\ge 2$ pairwise non-intersecting simply connected domains $D_k,$ such that each of the domains $D_k$ contains some point $a_k$ on a prescribed circle $|z| = ρ, 0 <ρ<1, k=1,...,n\,. $ It is shown that for some increasing function $Ψ\

Recently the AGILE $γ$-ray telescope has reported the enhanced $γ$-ray emission above 100 MeV from the direction of the Crab Nebula during a period of a few days. This intriguing observation has been confirmed by the Fermi-LAT telescope. This emission does not show evidences of pulsations with the Crab pulsar. It seems that it originates at the shock region

Statistical physics cannot explain why a thermodynamic arrow of time exists, unless one postulates very special and unnatural initial conditions. Yet, we argue that statistical physics can explain why the thermodynamic arrow of time is universal, i.e., why the arrow points in the same direction everywhere. Namely, if two subsystems have opposite arrow-direct

We study theoretically dynamical phases of vortices in superconducting films with arrays of obstacles. By performing a series of molecular dynamics simulations and analytical calculations, we demonstrate the existence of a phase of soliton-like vortex-density waves appearing in a wide range of parameters. These waves are formed by a self-assembled phase sepa

We propose a consistent treatment of divergences emerging in the computation of transverse-momentum-dependent parton densities in leading $α_s$-order of QCD perturbation theory.

It is important to have fast and effective methods for simplifying 3-manifold triangulations without losing any topological information. In theory this is difficult: we might need to make a triangulation super-exponentially more complex before we can make it smaller than its original size. Here we present experimental work suggesting that for 3-sphere triang

We prove a generalization of the van Leeuwen theorem towards quantum electrodynamics, providing the formal foundations of a time-dependent Kohn-Sham construction for coupled quantized matter and electromagnetic fields. Thereby we circumvent the symmetry-causality problems associated with the action-functional approach to Kohn-Sham systems. We show that the e

In considering alternative higher-order gravity theories, one is liable to be motivated in pursuing models consistent and inspired by several candidates of a fundamental theory of quantum gravity. Indeed, motivations from string/M-theory predict that scalar field couplings with the Gauss-Bonnet invariant, G, are important in the appearance of non-singular ea

The purpose of this project was to design and implement a pipeline Analog-to-Digital Converter using 0.35um CMOS technology. Initial requirements of a 25-MHz conversion rate and 8-bits of resolution where the only given ones. Although additional secondary goals such as low power consumption and small area were stated. The architecture is based on a 1.5 bit p

We show that the law of the overall supremum $\bar{X}_t=\sup_{s\le t}X_s$ of a Lévy process $X$ before the deterministic time $t$ is equivalent to the average occupation measure $μ_t(dx)=\int_0^t\p(X_s\in dx)\,ds$, whenever 0 is regular for both open halflines $(-\infty,0)$ and $(0,\infty)$. In this case, $\p(\bar{X}_t\in dx)$ is absolutely continuous for so

In this paper, we present the asymptotically flat black hole solutions for arbitrary values of coefficients in third order Lovelock gravity, and then derive gravitational mass, Hawking temperature and entropy of the black holes. In addition, based on a Hamilton-Jacobi approach beyond the semiclassical approximation, we compute the corrected temperature and e

Given a generic family $Q$ of 2-dimensional quadrics over a smooth 3-dimensional base $Y$ we consider the relative Fano scheme $M$ of lines of it. The scheme $M$ has a structure of a generically conic bundle $M \to X$ over a double covering $X \to Y$ ramified in the degeneration locus of $Q \to Y$. The double covering $X \to Y$ is singular in a finite number

General formula for symmetry factors (S-factor) of Feynman diagrams containing fields with high spins is derived. We prove that symmetry factors of Feynman diagrams of well-known theories do not depend on spins of fields. In contributions to S-factors, self-conjugate fields and non self-conjugate fields play the same roles as real scalar fields and complex s

This paper at first concerns some criteria on Artinianness and vanishing of formal local cohomology modules. Then we consider the cosupport and the set of coassociated primes of these modules more precisely.

The graph isomorphism problem is theoretically interesting and also has many practical applications. The best known classical algorithms for graph isomorphism all run in time super-polynomial in the size of the graph in the worst case. An interesting open problem is whether quantum computers can solve the graph isomorphism problem in polynomial time. In this

It is shown that when the gauge-invariant Bohr-Rosenfeld commutators of the free electromagnetic field are applied to the expressions for the linear and angular momentum of the electromagnetic field interpreted as operators then, in the absence of electric and magnetic charge densities, these operators satisfy the canonical commutation relations for momentum
