In this paper we study real hypersurfaces in the complex quadric space $Q^m$ whose structure Jacobi operator commutes with their structure tensor field. We show that the Reeb curvature $α$ of such hypersurfaces is constant and if $α$ is non-zero then the hypersurface is a tube around a totally geodesic submanifold $\mathbb{C} P^k \subset Q^m$, where $m=2k$.

Let $H$ be a separable Hilbert space with a fixed orthonormal basis. physics.chem-phI. Iskandarov, F. Carelli, E. Yurtsever, R. Wester
This paper deals with the possible formation of two molecular anions often considered likely components in the physical environments of the Interstellar Medium ( ISM) : $\mathrm{C_2H^-}$ and $\mathrm{NCO^-}$. They are both discussed here by computationally following the radiative association (RA) mechanism starting from $\mathrm{C_2^-}$, $\mathrm{H}$, $\math

Let $R$ be a commutative ring, $Y\subseteq \mathrm{Spec}(R)$ and $ h_Y(S)=\{P\in Y:S\subseteq P \}$, for every $S\subseteq R$. An ideal $I$ is said to be an $\mathcal{H}_Y$-ideal whenever it follows from $h_Y(a)\subseteq h_Y(b)$ and $a\in I$ that $b\in I$. A strong $\mathcal{H}_Y$-ideal is defined in the same way by replacing an arbitrary finite set $F$ inst

Investigating the possibility of applying techniques from linear systems theory to the setting of nonlinear systems has been the focus of many papers. The pseudo linear form representation of nonlinear dynamical systems has led to the concept of nonlinear eigenvalues and nonlinear eigenvectors. When the nonlinear eigenvectors do not depend on the state vecto
Formation of anionic C,N-bearing chains in the Interstellar medium via reactions of H$^{-}$ with HC$_x$N for odd-valued x from 1 to 7
physics.chem-phF. A. Gianturco, M. Satta, E. Yurtsever, R. Wester
We investigate the relative efficiencies of low-temperature chemical reactions in the Interstellar medium (ISM) with H$^-$ anion reacting in the gas phase with cyanopolyyne neutral molecules, leading to the formation of anionic C$_x$N$^-$ linear chains of different length and of H$_2$. All the reactions turn out to be without barriers, highly exothermic reac

We propose a consistent polynomial-time method for the unseeded node matching problem for networks with smooth underlying structures. Despite widely conjectured by the research community that the structured graph matching problem to be significantly easier than its worst case counterpart, well-known to be NP-hard, the statistical version of the problem has s

Combinatorial two-player games have recently been applied to knot theory. Examples of this include the Knotting-Unknotting Game and the Region Unknotting Game, both of which are played on knot shadows. These are turn-based games played by two players, where each player has a separate goal to achieve in order to win the game. In this paper, we introduce the L

Nowadays, there are a lot of people using social media opinions to make their decision on buying products or services. Opinion spam detection is a hard problem because fake reviews can be made by organizations as well as individuals for different purposes. They write fake reviews to mislead readers or automated detection system by promoting or demoting targe

The Internet of Things (IoT) integrates billions of smart devices that can communicate with one another with minimal human intervention. It is one of the fastest developing fields in the history of computing, with an estimated 50 billion devices by the end of 2020. On the one hand, IoT play a crucial role in enhancing several real-life smart applications tha

The paper is devoted to studying the performance of a computational pipeline, the number of simultaneously executing stages of which at each time is bounded from above by a fixed number. A look at the restriction as a structural hazard makes it possible to construct an analytical model for calculating the processing time of a given input data amount. Using t

This paper deduces universal uncertainty principle in different quantum theories after about one century of proposing uncertainty principle by Heisenberg, i.e., new universal uncertainty principle of any orders of physical quantities in quantum physics, overcomes the difficulty that current quantum computer, quantum communication, quantum control, quantum me
Perturbations of Dirac Operators and A KKW Type Theorem for Five Dimensional Manifolds with Boundary
math.DGJian Wang, Yong Wang
In this paper, we define lower dimensional volumes of compact Riemannian manifolds with boundary. For five dimensional spin manifolds with boundary, we prove a Kastler-Kalau-Walze type theorem associated with one-form perturbations of Dirac operators in this case.

High-index dielectric nanoparticles supporting a distinct series of Mie resonances have enabled a new class of optical antennas with unprecedented functionalities. The great wealth of multipolar responses and their delicate interplay have not only spurred practical developments but also brought new insight into fundamental physics such as the recent observat

A preference order or ranking aggregated from pairwise comparison data is commonly understood as a strict total order. However, in real-world scenarios, some items are intrinsically ambiguous in comparisons, which may very well be an inherent uncertainty of the data. In this case, the conventional total order ranking can not capture such uncertainty with mer

Object detection has made great progress in the past few years along with the development of deep learning. However, most current object detection methods are resource hungry, which hinders their wide deployment to many resource restricted usages such as usages on always-on devices, battery-powered low-end devices, etc. This paper considers the resource and

Each (equigenerated) squarefree monomial ideal in the polynomial ring $S=\mathbb{K}[x_1, \ldots, x_n]$ represents a family of subsets of $[n]$, called a (uniform) clutter. In this paper, we introduce a class of uniform clutters, called decomposable clutters, whose associated ideal has linear quotients and hence linear resolution over all fields. We show that
