Nucleon-Nucleon potentials with forbidden states up to 500 MeV

Abstract

Central nucleon-nucleon potentials involving forbidden states are obtained for the Gaussian, exponential, and Yukawa type. The parameters of interaction are obtained by fitting the scattering phase shifts for energies up to 500 MeV, low-energy parameters, and some features of the deuteron. The deuteron form factor for low momentum transfers, the momentum distributions of nucleons, and the cross section for deuteron photodisintegration are calculated.
